and taste.
i know they say one cant account for taste. but where do we draw the line really? Surely we can all agree that matchbox 20 is horrible and people that like them aren't cool and not worth talking to.

but I kinda liked a couple Matchbox 20 songs. It is not like I own one of their albums or anything, and like most post-1995 "music" their lead singer sounds awful but I remember liking the songs anyway.

I would not call that shallow though, since musical incompatibility is a serious hurdle for a relationship as the other will want you to listen to their music and perhaps not want to listen to yours. So I guess I have to give up my dreams about lionesspriyanka. :cry: How can you hold what could have been on a cold and lonely night?

Matchbox 20 was originally called Tabitha's Secret, they're from here (Orlando). Interesting historical tidbit - I saw them when they were Tabitha's Secret in, like '94, when they opened for. . .wait for it . . . Ween. Chocolate and Cheese Tour. I guess Ween just picked up whatever local band they could for the opening spot. . . because c'mon Ween is the effing shiz and Tabitha's Secret/Matchbox 20 doesn't deserve to be in the same room with the mighty Ween.
