I have a ton of shopping to do today - for some home_fix_it_before_the_snow_flys things. I took a week off last week and all hell broke loose while I was gone. Phone calls were made but nothing was solved until I started a plan yesterday. Tomorrow will be a physical labor day for my house mates while I direct.

I can't believe that one of my house mates duplicated all of my phone calls from two years ago when I said "I can't solve this one by myself". Now they are both willing to do the work - cause I've tried to hire someone and can't.
The job is too small for big companies.

I am really enjoying trying to keep up with your musical recommendations, but truly, allusions to Eurovision are somewhat beyond me! :P I have a little Gregorian action going with Chanticleer (what beauties some of them are, and the music is good too }( ) and the Hilliard Ensemble with David James, countertenor.

By the way, if Khash by some chance has me on ignore, would his posts be invisible to me? Or do you think he is just taking some time away? I'm not sure if I offended him or if I offended him by not further offending him.

80. The Eurovision is the most wonderful international cultural event ever

It is run by the various national broadcasters around Europe. There is a competition each year for new pop-songs - the programme has two halves, the former being a celebration of trashy campy nonsense. The latter (the voting) is done country by country, and so consists of the voicing of traditional hatreds and friendships.

The stunning irony is that this festival of naff music has the introduction to Charpentier's Te Deum as its theme music.

I would bet a very large amount of money that Khash does not have you on ignore - even if he did you would be able to see his posts (just not vice-versa). He's nigh on impossible to offend, but hasn't been posting much recently.
