I hadn't thought much about it before, but I was in Boston Store with a gift certificate, and discovered Origins. It seems like a very natural product.

The brand seemed pretty progressive, so I thought I'd share it with youse guys. I figured some of you might be interested.

3. I got mascara and some mint shampoo that's like aromatherapy
It's a bit expensive to get the whole line, but if I get more makeup (as I don't wear it all that often) I think I will be from them.

The seller person was kind of over-perky but very helpful, and she even sat me down and figured out what foundation would be good for me.

Interesting.

4. I love their mint shampoo.
I use their green tea eye cream and the "Look Alive" moisturizer. Also use their powder blush and ginger body cream-it IS yummy!

5. Yes
I don't use very much make up, but what I do use is all animal friendly. Personally, I <3 Bath and Body Works' Desert Rose lipstick.

Always. I never test makeup on my animals anymore. For one thing, the cats do not sit still long enough while their nail polish is drying, then it gets all smeared and it's such a waste. Finishing powder just makes the dog sneeze, and what's more, there isn't a single color of lipstick that compliments her spots. Finally, eyeshadow on fish washes right off, in fact the only thing that doesn't wash off is waterproof mascara. Then again, fish don't have eyelashes, so there's really no place to put it.

9. Yes, I look for animal friendly products. Fairly recently I've also
started to become concerned about animal products in cosmetics as well.

I've started searching labels for "no animal products or by-products".

10. I once taught an Origin's sales woman how to put on lipstick
Despite her (she was really nice but clueless) and their charcoal face cleaner which gave me a nasty rash overall I like the company.

I don't wear make up often but I love their lipstick (the kind they sell that looks like a crayon) and their ginger body scrub.

17. Wow, you too?
I used their charcoal face cleanser too for about a month - NEVER again. I quite literally didn't have a single breakout through high school and when I started using the charcoal stuff my face broke out like crazy. I couldn't figure out why until I stopped using it and my face cleared right up.

Other than that, I am addicted to their Never a Dull Moment wash and Look Alive moisturizer (and like their body washes and makeup).

14. Origins Mint facewash is great
I've used alot of their stuff over the years; my skin routine used to be really over the top--now I pretty much use their facewash and then moisterize (w/ SPF).

I don't recall whether they still make it, but I used to like their powder that was "mixable" to be made into a foundation/concealer..so I would mix it with moisterizer and use it as a foundation, mix it with acne cream and use it as a concealer on blemishes, and then mix it with eye cream to cover under eye circles. That was pretty good stuff. These days I'm part of the Bare Minerals crowd. :)

15. Yes, and I looooove Origins!
I use their Never A Dull Moment fruit face wash and the Look Alive skin brightener moisturizer. I wouldn't use any other face wash or moisturizer - I'm addicted to it!

makeup, women are better au natural. It ages your skin, and really, if you do the right things with your hair, you will be beautiful without makeup. All women are beautiful with the right look (read: the right hair style). Plus, makeup tastes terrible x( when giving a kiss either to the cheek or lips.
