So, I have 2 job interviews tomorrow
Wish me luck. I really really hate job interviews. And one is on the other side of the city. Should only take me, oh, 1.5 hours to get there (by bus). Crap.

2. In advertising/marketing
and graphic arts. The first one is in advertising/marketing for tv. The second is at a really great company (printing, graphics). I'm hoping for the second, quite frankly. Thanks for your wishes!

13. Thanks ac
Bus-LRT-Bus... god it was bad. And the wind was from the north. The actual travel time wasn't that long. It was just waiting for the connections.

Both interviews went very well (I think). I should know in a couple of days. Thanks to everyone for their good vibes. BTW, achtung, how did your's go?

On the first interview, I knew I had nailed it. But the guy wanted me to think about it and call him back on Thursday. I am 95% sure I have that job. So then I go to the 2nd; went well, the HR manager was very impressed with my boni fides (actually the president/marketing had singled me out). However, I need a 2nd interview with the President of marketing and the President. But the HR mgr. said she was recommending me for the position. But, they were "travelling" so I might not hear from them until the end of the week, for another interview next week. I interjected and told the HR mgr. I already had an offer on the table. She then said that she would definitely make them available by Thursday. So either "Score" or not... I want the second job. I have heard many many good things about this company.
edited to add: the HR manager also told me that what I was asking re: salary was TOO LOW! She said they would pay me a lot more than that. Call me gobsmacked.

19. I'm excited for you
Canadian Socialist. Looks like things just may be going your way. Interviews are nasty. For a while I was doing so many, I could do them in my sleep, and felt I had more expertise than the interviewer. Again, good luck - we're all cheering for you!
