Braggin' time! My 7 yo impressed his 2nd grade teacher by being
the only one in his class to be able to name the 13 original colonies.

I suspect this may partly be because I have been working with him and his little bro on learning all 50 states and capitals, but mostly I think it's because he's one smart cookie! :D

6. Thanks :^) My kids can't help it in some ways because
they were born into a family of educators. Not that we're trying to burn them out or anything but we do try to keep them pushing the boundaries of what they can learn. It seems to me most teachers' kids I have known *including my bro and me* got extra educating unofficially at home.
