How many of you own a Ford?
I know it's kinda like asking "How many of you are Freepers?" but when doing copycat threads, one must sometimes stoop to low levels.

2. I own a Mercury.
It's old and the price was right. Sometimes people w/ very little money buy what they can afford.

7. I have a Ford Contour
Too bad they stopped selling them (in this country), because it's a good car. I guess the new Ford Fusion is the equivalent.

10. Used to have a Mercury
until I totalled it. It was used, around $6K. It was a really good car for the price. I can't be too picky, I'm a college student.

14. I have a 97 escort
bought it new, have 150000. on it. and its been a great car. no really, not a single problem, only replaced belts batteries, tires and brakes. Oh wait last year at 12000 it needed a new exhaust. still great gas mileage (about 37 combined, I have a manual transmission), inexpensive replacement parts and it just keeps on going.

15. Those escorts were great!
my family had three of them over about 12 years plus the more expensive mercury version.

Great cars with TONS of cargo space - I swear we could haul as much in my Mom's Escort as I can haul in a full size van!
