Good Thursday Morning, Everybody!
:donut::hi:
How are you today? I hope all you Nighthawks have had a great night, and those of you on the Morning Crew just coming on had a good rest! I see we've been discussing affairs in a few threads. Tch, tch, tch. Interesting subject matter, to say the LEAST. :)

Counting today, 3 days remain in 2005! Greekspeak and I haven't decided what we are going to do on Saturday, but I had a couple of really good suggestions posted yesterday, so I'll let you know what we decide on. I'm leaning towards pulling out all the board games and having a board game night leading up to midnight. I think we'd have to have more than just the two of us to make it even "funner", so we'll see what finally ends up happening.

21. So do I!
I can tell you I would NOT go buy 9 or 10 cars, a huge mansion or any other crazy thing some lottery winners have purchased immediately. I WOULD buy a nice house, TWO cars (one for me, one for Greekspeak), furnish it nicely, and then just live. Travel.

somebody. Otherwise it's innocent fun.

May I suggest some strip-Monopoly for Saturday night? That will make things "funner".

I don't know how innocent it is.
But I think that it can be called an affair even if nobody is cheating.

17. I myself never use the term except for when cheating is involved
And most often for actual adultery. I would never have a regular relationship with an otherwise uninvolved person and call it an affair, even though it may be a perfectly valid use of the word. To me it just has that negative connotation to it.

I hope your day goes well. We are down to the end of the year and for me that means payroll TAXES. I am determined to get all the reports done and out by tomorrow. I think there are about 7 diiferent forms not including all the W-2s and 1099-R's. Ok Have a great day. (BTW I think affairs are great unless you're in a committed relationship and then it turns out to be VERY painful).:( :hi:

:hi:
Are you a CPA or something? Or are you just talking about your normal year end taxes calculations for you personally? I don't even want to THINK of taxes right now. x(

If one is in a comitted relationship, affairs are the WORST thing that could happen and usually means the relationship is over. In my opinion, it is THE worst way to tell someone who loves you that you are done with them.

27. No I'm not a CPA
I only wish. Then these silly things would be simple. No, I manage a fairly large medical practice and I get to do lots of things. One is the payroll for all the employees and then about this time the government wants a bunch of numbers to prove that the business as well as the employees are paying everything they should. Next year we are talking about a bookkeeper to do this. Yeah!!!! Have a great day Clintmax.:bounce:

Yes Clint, board games are more fun with multiple people. For our gatherings, everyone brings what they have to the party and we just play one right after the other. It's a lot of fun. And of course everyone brings food too.

65. I was there
Just not quite in time to see you.

I'm not at work, and so my body really doesn't get going until the early afternoon.

All's good here, it looks like I'm going to get a quiet day, which is a very good thing. :pals:

69. I doubt that I do.
I'm a very bad boy most of the time. But your good wishes are very gratefully received. :loveya:

But as for your comments above, they show that your mind is in the gutter (right alongside mine). :spank:

77. Good morning from the land of Diebold!
I work NYE day and may or may not go over to neighbors for martinis at midnight. Otherwise, it's just pretty low-key for me and my daughter.

:hi:
