2. Are you third-shift?
Edited on Tue Jan-03-06 08:39 PM by supernova
:hi:

I'm holding over... I'm trying to finish a book edit -- my deadline is today-- and got behind because of a tech problem at work today that chewed up a couple of hours. :P

edit: third-shift, not third-shitt.

I usually work from like 3:30 to 11:30 depending on what my duties are that night! :hi:

at a newspaper here in CT.

Game coverage, interviews and office shifts dictate what hours I work.

7. I would rather be a writer
Our copy editors work later then I do. more shifts, holidays, etc...
Plus, when there are rain (snow) outs and all the high school games get cancelled, the writers don't have to go in but the editors do.

8. Yeah, but they get to ride a desk
instead of standing on the sidelines freezing their asses off. :scared:

Anyway, I really enjoy designing pages, writing heds, etc.

9. Well that's true
but that's for only three months of the year here in CT. Only really Nov and Dec.
The rest of the games are indoors during the winter.

I hate paginating so the writer role suits me! :hi:

10. Hey, as long as you write clean
