1. I don't think I can handle this.
Things finally get good and I'm up here in Toronto with a bunch of people who don't know the CFL from the NFL.

Now I know how my friend from Boston felt when the Sox won and he's like "I can't believe I'm in Canada right now".

11. I'm stuck in the Midwest
I was figuring it might make for an interesting super bowl if I were cheering for the Broncos here in the heart of Illinois :)

But Illinois, Canada, Denver, wherever, it's great to see the Broncos winning in the playoffs again :D

7. agreed
While SEattle and Carolina are good teams I don't think they can beat either of the two AFC teams. Pittsburgh looked VVEERRYY good this afternoon. Be scared of them.

14. traditionally, mile high is much tougher than indy
i'm not saying they're skeered, i'm just happy the broncos have home field advantage :)

I'm expecting a great game next Sunday ...

15. well, pitt's team started 10-0 last year
so you might want to curb your enthusiasm :)

But as for today's game, all I can say is :wow:

Great performance by the Steelers!

16. yeah Pitt tends to lose a bit of steam
it always upsets me when they are out of the NCAA tournament in the 1rst or 2nd round. But their home games are sold out all the time now.

17. i've always kind of like pitt basketball
not that i've been a huge fan or followed closely, or anything, but if they're one of the teams that's playing i'm probably more inclined to watch. They always seem poised to overtake the heavy hitters of the Big East, but never quite get over the hump, program wise. (What are there, like fifty teams in the Big East now? ;))

18. well
they are at the top of the heap, currently.... and there are some big guns in there.

But then they go to the NCAA and get bonked by Marquette or Villanova or what have you... but most of these teams can beat each other on a good day.

20. I don't like Pittsburgh
Philly and Pittsburgh were never chummy anyway, even though they are in the same state. So I'm rooting for you, Denver. I think Pittsburgh will lose another championship game.
