Packet Loss...
That's what Comcast says I have since I got a new cable modem from them. There have been times when a web page has been loading for 45 minutes! :grr::mad: I've had a tech out here but it was running just fine when he was here so he didn't do anything. I asked him if he could give me a new modem, but he only had returned ones in his van and didn't want to give me somebody else's problem. He told me he would stop by the next day with a new one, but he never did. I'm going to the Comcast office when I get off to get a new modem, but I'm aggravated as hells at them and I'm considering switching to Sprint DSL. I know it's not as fast as broadband...but how much worse can it be?

4. A good site...
www.dslreports.com

I go there for my DSL and Cable modem troubleshooting. They have a good tools and tweaks section, if you can't wait for a tech to come over. I know I don't have that kind of patience.
