Good morning DU - kitchen's open. How do you want your eggs?
Personally I could go for some chille relnos(sp) or a mexican skillet my self. :D

1. I am contemplating either making myself some shirred eggs (my newest
addiction) or just getting on with it and going off to the car wash and Trader Joe's. If I eat the shirred eggs, I will spend less at Trader Joe's. On the other hand, if I don't eat the shirred eggs, I won't be running behind all day. Bet you're glad you asked. :hi:

2. Shirred eggs? I never heard of them before.
Hmmmm. Sounds like something Frodo, Sam, Merri, and Pip would like. Seriously what are they.

5. I preheat the oven to 350, then I take a custard cup ( you can use
a coffee cup), cover the bottom with cream (or milk), crack two eggs into it, add pepper and salt and a teaspoon of butter on top. You can stop here and bake it for 8 to ten minutes until the white is set but the yolk is still liquid, or you can do what I do and add a few chopped scallions, a bit of cheese and bread crumbs. It's the best. :hi:

6. Cool will do but I will have to wait untill tomarrow.
I dont get to the grocery store on tuesdays and I don't have any scallions.
