So are ya going to drink green beer tomorrow?
I hope we get to dye the beer at work green. :bounce:
We had a little too much fun planning St. Paddy's stuff. Our cook is making a cabbage and corn beef stew, and we'll have irish cream lattes and I made green whipping cream for milkshakes and hot chocolates. And we're going to do something else green, but I forgot now.

What are your plans for tomorrow? :D

3. I have to go out to dinner.
I don't want to go, but the evening is not about me. I'll not be drinking any beer either, green or not.

5. If you plan to drink Guinness, don't do it.
The amount of green dye necessary to change the color of stout will water down the brew and ruin it.

7. LOL!
Yeah, there's no point trying to dye something that's already black. :D

9. If you put a shot of blackcurrant cordial in it, the hed will go green
You can draw a green shamrock on the head of a pint from the tap if you put a shot of blackcurrant syrup in it. When I lived in the UK, we'd do that all the time for draught Guinness. The head would be a bit purplish, but the shamrock would glow green.

Try it out-- it's pretty cool.

10. I was thinking about buying
Midori, cause that stuff's green..good or crap?? Can you take shots with that stuff? Baring in mind that we're college students and for the most part non-discriminatory. :+

12. Try a Melonball
1 oz Midori melon liqueur
1 oz Malibu rum
3 oz Orange juice

Or there's Arizona Antifreeze (which does look like antifreeze, but I wasn't too fond of them as a drink)
1/3 oz Vodka
1/3 oz Midori melon liqueur
1/3 oz Sweet and sour (Mr.& Mrs.T's)

And it's taken as a shot.

:hi:

11. Nah. But we are having corned beef & cabbage.
We've been avoiding beef lately, but for this I'll make an exception.

16. No I am not going anwhere
I realized that St. Patrick's Day is on a Friday and is also the last day of Spring Break (well other than the weekend) in this beach town. We are already overrun with amateur boaters (I encountered many idiots today at the boat ramp). Worse still are the amateurs who will be in the bars tomorrow night. Sounds like a good night for a movie.
