any more of those cabinet pulls?? We have dozens of them in our kitchen! I wish I had $300 just to replace them all with new stuff!!

3. Nice floor
But your stainless steel toilet looks a little over the top--especially the handle.

7. Beautiful flooring!!
Wow. We have a 120 year old house, so I hear ya on the level floor thing. I'd love to have ours done, but I doubt we have the money to hire the guy who can do that kind of work.

8. we have waited 9 years to do this
and it was cheaper than i thought it would be. and we have 220 square feet (large kitchen)

check out some people in your area. you might be suprised

11. Hrm... I may do that
Next year or so, LOL. Part of what worries me is that we have a large "dropoff" along one wall where the floor has settled quite a lot off the foundation... maybe an inch or two drop over a foot of width. Ah well, we'll see. I'm definitely impressed with yours, though!

12. my guy used a self-leveling compound
they pour it on the floor and it runs until it is 100% level. dries overnight. he tells me it will stay solid up to about 4 inches or so (ours was about 1 1/2 inches)

I didn't realize that they made such stuff, but that's brilliant. Wow. I will keep that in mind if we ever decide to do that!

13. beautiful beautiful tile. What brand and "pattern" is it
I am looking to tile my kitchen this year and that color looks just like what I want.

is it smooth or textured?

Nice job!

I did not know about self leveling compound, either. Here in North Texas, our not so old slab foundation homes tend to slip becuase of long droughts followed by wet seasons and clay soil.

I am looking to have some foundation work done before we do the other work.
