Finally a job

I've been battling self doubt and depression for awhile now . . . and kind of still am. But at least something's gone right for me today.

FINALLY . . after looking for a job since dropping out of college in December I finally got me one. Not glamerous . . definitely not something I plan on making a career out of. But it's a start and it'll help me start my quest to move out of my grand parents who have so kindly housed me since August 2004 (When I moved to Petersburg to commute to V.C.U) . . .

Now if you excuse me I'm going to celebrate with a sandwich . . . yes a sandwich . . to help battle my depression and self doubt I've been attempting to lose weight . . . . and I've almost under 200 pounds. . .

Guess some things are going right. . . .

What a wonderful feeling to be working again. There was one point in my life when I was out of work for over a year. So, I am very happy for you.

You got the door open and that's half the battle. Hope it leads to other opportunities more in line with your career ambitions. Is there a college close by that has evening classes? Does your new employer reimburse for college courses?
