why do people mistake gentleness for weakness.

indifference or incompetence. I don't know where I got that, I think it's one of my originals, but it has worked very well for me for years.I think that one falls under ignorance.

"In a heart that is one with nature, though the body contends, there is no violence. And in the heart that is not one with nature, though the body be at rest, there is always violence. Be therefore, like the bow of a boat - it cleaves the water, yet it leaves in its wake, water unbroken." - Master Po

Anyone can burn their dinner! It only takes a moment, you know....

I feel you learn more from your mistakes than from your successes!

13. Those who do that have been in their share
of bad relationships in their lives. Their S.O. was someone who looked out only for themselves and no one else. To survive in this type of coupling the other person had to stand up to that attitude constantly. Some people seem to seek out that person with the rough exterior and look with disdaine on those who show kindness and gentlness. That's been my experience anyway.
