What's the worst career in the world for you?

I found mine today at a press conference: A contract PR person. Someone paid to make someone else's product seem like the most exciting thing in the world. "We're very excited about our expansion into the fasteners segment." NO YOU'RE NOT. YOU'RE GETTING PAID TO PRETEND YOU'RE EXCITED. What's there to say about fasteners, anyway? "We sell fasteners now." That's it.

(Fasteners = nuts and bolts, screws, eyelets, hooks, that sort of hardware crap. Stuff that connects stuff to other stuff.)

I would go bonkers doing that. I was about to go bonkers listening to that.
I swear, septic-tank cleaner would be a better match for me than that.

Having to continually lie and get grilled by the press for your lies and the lies of the president and trying to defend those lies. There is no way I could sleep at night with that job.
