1. I'm a catfish convert, too...
...this Yankee never had it 'til I married a Texan and moved down here. Now it's my white fish of choice usually.

Nice work, SS.

2. Thanks Richardo! I was actually really moved by it as soon as I
took the first luscious bite. It's a "fatty" fish. It reminded me of the first time I'd tried roast Duck two years ago after being used to the flavors of chicken and turkey. I loved the extreme richness of it.

I'd like to try swordfish next.

I've had trout, red snapper, salmon and halibut. You can make "poor man's lobster" with halibut, and it's delicious! :9

8. 'Pants! It's you!!
:D :loveya: :pals:

You're so kind.

And don't you love discovering a new food you've never eaten before and in the same bite decide it's ambrosia? I mean, not to go crazy or anything here, but that was melt-in-your-mouth catfish.

14. supernova! How are you, doll?
Salter Path is my favorite place. I can even be happy driving 35 mph thru it. Just to watch everything. Guess what? Oneeighty, whose writing I really admire, just sent me a PM about Salter Path. I am so lucky.

I'm 36 years old and I just found one of my favorite foods. If there isn't any catfish to measure up to that, I'll go back to Salter Path. Order a dozen, then come back here. :9 :hi: :pals:

17. SAY HELLO to NYC for me when you're there!
no name no slogan is coming to visit me so I can't make the trip. I still have to let Lynne know. You are going to have a spectacular time. I know this. I want to work on another NC DU meetup, too.

Rage on, my friend. If you need any connections like to Lynne, please let me know.

12. Try catfish and eggs for breakfast sometime
Mmmmmmmmm.

I first had it in a little hole-in-the-wall restaurant in Ft Pierce, FL years ago. They fried catfish nuggets in a light batter til they were just crisp, and I had them with eggs over-easy and real gosh-darn homemade biscuits.

Now I'm hungry! :9

15. Ohhhh, YES!
I will. I'm an adventurous eater. I can tell that about you too. :pals: That sounds heavenly. Better than standard fare. I could eat it in place of sausage, and catfish NUGGETS?

Hey, would it be simply AWFUL of me to dip dainty forkfuls of that wonderful meat into a mixture of tartar sauce & ketchup equal?

:o :9 :yourock:

18. My first experience with Sex On The Beach was awesome!
Kudos to the bartender!

My favorite: Shrimp Scampi Melt.
The shrimp were tender and succulent nestled together on a bed of wonderful fresh coleslaw, topped with melted cheese served on a soft onion roll.

The waitresses were there when we needed something. They were purrrfect!

Check out the supper specials starting at $10.95.

BTW If you dine with an ocean view ~ you might see whales.
