I KNOW whatcha mean.

I still feel some pain, but I don't mind it quite so much. The problem is, I feel then, that I can get up and do so much and that's not good because I'm supposed to be resting. Can't win for losin' some days :)

I'm sorry you too have pain.

5. After jogging..

Went up the stairs and it twisted making a loud "Crunch" noise that everyone could hear. Turns out, I crunched the cartilige in my maniscus and need surgery.

Back in 91, while skiing, I tore my ACL and my knee has never been the same, even after surgery.

9. Oh my god!
That's awful! My running partner has occasional knee issues, and a good friend of mine was in a car accident and messed up both of hers, and she has issues as well. Ouch! That'll put a damper on your exercise routine. I live in fear of injuring something and being unable to keep up my efforts. (I was in really lousy shape after I had my last baby and am -admittedly excessively- terrified of backsliding.) Surgery doesn't sound so appealing, either.

6. good stuff, huh?
I recently took vicodin for the first time (for an abscessed tooth-oh, the pain), and wondered where on earth this stuff had been all my life.

Is surgery a for-sure thing? Knee injuries SUCK. :-(
