1. I have and I am.
If you think you can not live without a limb, well you need to stop being so vain. You are alive, when you could be dead.

2. I'd probably be upset for a while
Maybe even to the point of having suicidal thoughts for that reason, but I probably would get used to it and go on living.

3. Although I have all 4 of mine
Yes I would want to live. I have seen may very productive and active people who have lost not one but two legs. They didn't give up they continued on with their life. Of course adjustments had to be made but for the most part they got prothesis and learned to walk, dance, run and even drive again. We all face challenges.

8. Depends on the limb.
I think I can live without my legs. Having noticed increasing weakness over the last several months, I suspect I'm about to find out. It'll be difficult as a photopgrapher, but not impossible.

It will take longer to rehabilitate my arms; I still often tell numbness, tingling, and occasionally feel a strange sensation within them.

But I've considered death akin to unconsciousness. I have been dead before.

6. and I would volunteer for one those experimental prostheses that
hook into the brain and can operate with thought. just like a real limb but obviously less so.

7. Yes, of course
You would be surprised, when push comes to shove, just how much you can do without in this life.
