I miss my kitty.
17 years ago today, a beautiful siamese kitten was born. He was the sweetest little angel anyone could ever ask for. He knew he was beautiful and was worshiped by anyone who saw his beautiful blue eyes and gentle personality. He knew all of my secrets, and I miss him so much. He died last September. I think of him every day, and I would give anything to hold him right now

2. "He knew all your secrets"
That is so right. And even knowing all our secrets they still loved us unconditionally!

3. That's Mother Nature's cruel trick on animal lovers
Edited on Sat Apr-08-06 01:02 AM by SoCalDem
we either outlive them , or we worry about who will love them if we go first

But we gotta have them ..it's worth the pain ..

7. Thanks everyone.
People don't understand that this loss was like losing a family member. He was mine for 16 years. He was always there for 16 years. Now he is not and I don't think I will ever feel the same for another cat. The price we pay for their unconditional love is that they are gone way too soon. Heknew he was loved. He went while he was in my arms. When he died, he was in my bed and he got up for the first time in days because he had been very ill. He climbed into my arms, looked at me, closed his eyes and passed away.

8. Thanks for sharing that Sannum.
Our furry friends are really more like family members. My GF and I consider our 3 cats to be our babies.

9. I lost two family members this year.
My sweet Roo died last May, and my mom died a month ago.

All I can offer is to say that our tears show us how deeply we have loved, and been loved by others.
