5. :)
It's one they won't forget.

But I will not work in a hostile workplace, which is the atmosphere they are deliberate creating. Management is already apathetic over the idea of brain drain, and they care only for short-term costs (not long term ones because, let's face it, common sense is a bugger of an issue...)

6. I have been following your story a bit
and it sounds like hell. I used to work in a similar situation. The only thing that made it better was quitting.

8. Afraid to.
I've been looking on the job "market", sporadically, for 18 months now.

Found a few things, but it would be a pay cut. But there's always a way.

11. HT given what I know of your situation, I would say keep the job until you

find something. What will your mental and financial status be if you are unemployed 18 months from now? I know it sucks having a miserable job/workplace, but it is a paycheck.

A difficult choice either way

10. So Don't Resign
The job market is still really bad, so maybe you should reconsider. Certainly, don't resign if you don't have another job lined up. Good luck to you with your decision.

13. I did that years ago, but toughed it out for the kids...
I've been retired from there for about six years.
