Been a fan for a little over a year, since I was introduced to them... but... now I'm a total fangirl.

They are SPECTACULAR live!

They weren't my favorite band before last Friday. Before then it was Peter Gabriel/Genesis.

But wow... DOUBLE WOW! I can't explain it... but if you haven't seen them live, and you like them, please please please do yourself a favor and go... they sound beautiful... but they *feel* positively ORGASMIC! Tour dates are up on their website. :7

14. Yes, no refrains, but the tunes were in my head.

Yes, they're definitely more atmospheric, but from what I've heard on Mr Beast they've gone more towards hooks and melodies.

But yeah... several of their songs stayed with me afterwards... mostly Cody, because it was the last song they played.

And yeah, I can remember the music. It's atmospheric, not forgettable. ;)

On my mind today have been Take Me Somewhere Nice and Helicon2.

31. a couple of my favorites are

- gas the nutsy (you can get this from "redirection: a polyvinyl sampler" - i bet you would like some of that stuff)
- nightime stomach (from "elephant")
- metric (from "people living with animals")

they are a bit more low-key jangly melodic instrumental so as i said not quite the same as the all outness and multi instrumental of godspeed
but for a mellow mood they are pretty cool

please let me know what you think and what you end up liking from emusic
i would love recommendations for especially cool stuff
i have probably 15k+ songs of all kinds but always love to learn about more

I think it means "ghost" or "evil spirit" in Chinese... or maybe it's Japanese... but I think it's Chinese.

Anyway... yeah, I remember when that came out... me and all my brothers and sisters were crazy about that little guy. :)
