2. I think that falls into the "don't care" category.
If you would like, I will E-Mail the MP3 to you.

Then you will remember that you have heard it before.

I do care though. I've probably heard it, but did not know what it was....

20. Yes you do.
If you run Windows, Windows Media Player plays MP3s. If you run OS X, iTunes plays MP3s.

10. If you like 10cc, try Wax (sometimes known as Wax UK).
Graham Gouldman from 10cc with Andrew Gold (who I believe plays with 10cc now as well).

13. Possibly my second favorite 70s pop song
next to "Someone Saved My Life Tonight". The ideas they use in the song shouldn't work in a million years, but they do. Indeed they do. A brilliant piece of songwriting.

15. Is that the original or the remake?
I can't stand the remake with the whiny chick singing but I really like the original with the male vocolist who sounds like a lost and frightened teenager.

18. Greatest pop single of the 70s
the production on it is amazing. I have an article about the making of that song in a magazine at home-- it's amazing what they could do with the relatively primitive equipment of the mid-70s.

In fact, I'm going to listen to it right now...

19. the way they remixed it
(I think in the early 90's) integrating parts of it into the song "Cry" was utterly brilliant.

Godley & Creme were two of the top videographers in England in the 80's as well.

And I'm sure you all know what 10cc represents. . .the average measurement of sperm released during ejaculation. These guys were totally quirky.

31. Great article on the making of "I'm Not In Love"
did you know it was originally written in a bossa-nova style? Unfortunately, all traces of the original were erased, so nobody knows what it sounded like. :(

Here is a very good article about the making of the song. Considering what it took to create it, it's really quite incredible.

Here's a pic of the master tape from the same article:

i need a song to drive 'straight up' by paula abdul out of my brain. i hate that song but i couldn't shake it this week. now i'll just hum 10cc's masterpiece, the only 10cc on the 'pod.

Air is the 10cc of this generation.

34. I am so pleasantly surprised.
The song touches me. The swelling, angelic vocorder-sounds, dipping in and out. The phony denial of love. The fear of acknowledging. Okay, maybe it goes a bit too far with the covering up of the stain on the wall. But the emotion is communicated and confirmed.

I really love this song!!!!!!!

Unique pop song chord pattern, too. Actually, complicated.
