7. "Jesus visited me in a dream"

Fundies visited me in a dream. I was in church and needed to go to the bathroom. A pinch-faced woman told me she'd have to monitor me while I was in there "because of that" and pointed to my bulging pregnant belly. I got indignant and asked if she thought that because I wasn't married to the father of my baby that I was going to fornicate in the bathroom stall with some guy. She just wrinkled her nose and said it was "church policy". I told her that if that was church policy I was going home and left.

Weird freaking dream. :crazy:

8. This one reminds me of a stupid customer story.

Back at the health food store, we used to lock up the exit door, if it was windy or cold, so wouldn't give a cashier hypothermia. We put a little sign on the door saying "please use other door." Everyone could figure out that this meant the entrance door five feet away. One regular, who was basically a raging bitch to everyone she encountered (and scarily also a HS English teacher), didn't seem to understand this concept. So it went like this...

Raging Bitch Customer=RB
Me=Me
Normal Customer=NC

RB: (engages in desperate tug of war with door) How do I get out of here?! I'm TRAPPED! The door is locked!
Me: Um...just use the other door.
RB: (more frantic door pulling) WHAT OTHER DOOR??? LET ME OUT!!! HOW DO I GET OUT?
Me: The entrance is open.
RB: (frantic door pulling continues) THAT'S AN ENTRANCE!!!!
Me: I know, but you can go out it.
RB: (frantic door pulling continues) HOW TO I GET OUT? THAT'S AN ENTRANCE!
Me: It's okay. You can exit through the entrance.
RB: FINE! (storms out entrance)
NC: Is she okay to go out by herself?
Me: Actually, she's kind of always like this.
NC: Oh okay. Well, I think she needs supervision.

11. This is one I'm personally responsible for.

It's the only picture of my achievements still left on the internet. One day I'll have to scan them all. I like to think I'm responsible for that church switching over to an electronic sign.


And as for this next one, we just find it bizarre that a hot dog/burger place also has a fresh juice bar that they feel should be pointed out more than the stuff they grill.


Oh and I guess I'll add the "witty" speed limit signs in my town.

17. Yeah, I hit them about half a dozen times.

I'd drive by a couple times to see what the sign said on both sides. So I'd figure out what I'd have to work with, plus I would keep the letters from previous "attacks", so I use them, too. Once I managed to switch it on both sides. I'd generally hit them just before dawn on a Sunday morning. I'd take a picture everytime. I would literally be in and out in about 30 seconds, like a ninja. One time I did bring along a friend and he took some pictures of me posing on top of the sign in my pajamas.

This was how I spent the summer of 2001.
