Question for people who work or worked in retail

Do you find yourself straightening up things in other stores. When I shop for clothes, I am constantly picking up and rehanging things others discarded. My friends think I'm crazy.

1. I didn't even straighten up shit in my store

3. I did for awhile

I eventually broke myself of the habit but for awhile no matter where I would go I had to incessently make everything straight on all shelves. It didn't last long once I left the job, but I still straighten my books and shelves at home because of the job. Before that they were chaos.

4. The damn sweater tables

I can't walk past them or I'll stop to refold them.

5. Not other peoples mess but anything I handle is put back properly

I've had a couple of salespersons mention that I must have worked retail in the past
