4. Political Comedy...

It's a political comedy (see my sig), and I entered the Artivist Festival in LA. It's also been entered into the NY Underground Film Festival and took a nomination for Best Narrative Feature at the Barebones International Film Festival in Muskogee, OK (of all places).

6. Waaaa....that is what I want to be doing!

I entered a Kodak-sponsored student film fest years ago and received an honorable mention. Never entered anything again. Then, a couple years ago I sent for the Sundance stuff. Since then, I get really cool invitations and advance ticket notices. I've never been to Sundance, and I still haven't finished my film...but it is a kick being on the mailing list! I feel so...so...well, like a guy getting someone else's mail, actually!

I'm not even trying to get into Sundance. I entered it into NoDance and TromaDance last year and didn't get into either (though tromadance was mostly shorts and mine is a feature). I got rejected from a bunch of others last year (SXSW, Chicago Underground, SF World Film Fest and others), but I've finally gotten my sound professionally mixed and a DVD authored which should improve my chances.

Your poster looks great. I've been doing all of our posters since I can barely afford to have them duplicated let alone any custom artwork, but if salse pick up, we'll see.

Good luck with your film. There's nothing like the feeling of watching a full theater of people enjoying your work.
