i've been busy working on a new piece for an upcoming even i'm attending. :hi:

i homeschool, so i do school work year round! :P

i'm actually planning on starting to take a few courses at the college here soon.

4. not sure yet

i have at least another year to decide what i'm going to major in(since i'm only 15). i do know that i'm about to start taking some classes that my mom is picking out at the local college. i'll be graduating early so my friends will still be in highschool while i'm in college. :P

5. what do you like best about being home-schooled?

do you miss going to class or being with schoolmates? have you always been home-schooled?

7. thanks! i starting homeschooling in the 7th grade

i still get to see my friends and talk to them. i don't miss it at all and i love being homeschooled because i've gotten to move so far ahead! my friends at school have just finished Algebra 1 while i'm almost done with trig, so i really like that fact that i can learn at my own pace instead of being held back.

my husband's birthday was earlier this week, and to celebrate, we went to dinner with his parents, and then to see the DVC. However, after about an hour into the movie, I wasn't feeling well at all, from something I ate, and my husband and I had to leave! His parents stayed, and they really enjoyed the movie. Tonight, Mr. LD and I went to see it AGAIN, and thoroughly enjoyed it!

I don't want to give anything away to anyone who is reading the thread, but did you think there were certain parts near the end, that were kind of confusing, as to who was bad, and who was good, and did all those who were bad know that the others who were bad, were in fact, bad? Got it?

I didn't read the book either....

Of course, Mr. LD noticed a blooper at the end as to who originally driving a car, and then someone else, who was not originally driving the car, drove the car off into the sunset! Only he would notice something like that...

i'm addicted to diet coke. i don't like coke an ymore because it's so sweet tasting, but my mom drinks diet coke and it's always in the house. eventually i starting drinking it because we were out of coke and i became addicted to the crap! :P

"What's the Frequency, Kenneth?" is a song by the rock group R.E.M. from their 1994 album Monster. It was the first single from the album, released three weeks later.

The title refers to the question one of two unknown assailants, later identified as William Tager, asked CBS anchorman Dan Rather as he assaulted him on Park Avenue in Manhattan in October 1986. The phrase Rather reported actually hearing was "Kenneth, what is the frequency?"

R.E.M vocalist Michael Stipe said of the incident: "It remains the premier unsolved American surrealist act of the 20th century. It's a misunderstanding that was scarily random, media hyped and just plain bizarre." Rather later accompanied the band to perform the song on a Late Show with David Letterman appearance.

In 1997, the New York Daily News identified Tager as Rather's assailant based on a tip from a psychiatrist. Tager apparently was convinced that the news media was beaming signals into his head, and demanded that Rather tell him the frequency of the signals. He is currently serving a 25-year prison sentence for killing NBC stagehand Campbell Montgomery outside the Today show studio in 1994. New York never indicted Mr. Tager for the assault on Rather, and many skeptics remain unconvinced, although Rather accepts the Tager theory.
