Thanks.

Hospital's Open Psychiatric Ward on Floor Four. (On the closed ward, it's too dangerous -- certain people might get you in trouble for the slightest thing... like suggesting someone go to a certain restaurant in a certain city...)

There is one drawback. They have a V-E-R-Y slow computer, but what the hell, it's only the DU. Who cares?

Tomorrow morning, I have breakfast, and then group therapy.

I get to tell all about what happened to me in the Democratic Underground this weekend, Monday and Tuesday.

The question is: WILL ANYBODY FUCKING BELIEVE ME?

OK. Time for meds.

Goodnight...................................................................>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

7. I hate to tell ya
but I doubt if they believe you.

Thank your lucky stars you are not in the closed ward anymore. You could probably get in trouble for even thinking of that place in that place while at that place. :scared:

5. If you sniff around the threads I've been in tonight it should start
to become clear.

"A undercover cop has got to be Marlon Brando. To do this job you got to be a great actor. You got to be naturalistic. You got to be naturalistic as hell. If you ain't a great actor you're a bad actor, and bad acting is bull shit in this job."

10. Thanks, I feel better... a little sleep, a day at work, and things are
looking better.

Some of the more ridiculous threads from yesterday are gone or locked, giving me a bit more confidence in the setup here.

If I feel as discouraged as that again, I guess I should take a week off or something.

11. I understand. You know, I get "Wired out" sometimes myself.....
Edited on Wed Jun-21-06 09:12 PM by BlueJazz
... especially when I'll post a post that (I think) is great and quite Cerebral..
..and wind up getting One lousy message while a post that reads:
"What color is your Dog?" gets 178 posts...Go Figure.. :)

12. If it weren't so hot, I'd suggest a cup of tea.
Seriously, a British friend of mine and I joke that that is one of our few implementable approaches to any problem, insurmountable or not (and we've been through both).

But the larger truth behind that is taking a break, looking after yourself, and trying to gain perspective.

Have a good rest, MM. We'll miss you, but we'll be here when you come back.
