Most Awesome Way to Beat the Heat in Summer?

Slip-n-Slide (Back in my day we didn't have that inflatable thingy. You ripped your torso to shreds on the grass like a MAN!)

Water Wiggle This one was eventually taken off the market because it kept giving kids grievous injuries.

2. go to your local convenience store or market...
...and buy a BLOCK of ice. Not cubes. A BLOCK. Take it home, put it in a big bowl, and sit on it until you can't stand it any more. Then put your fan behind it and let it blow toward you.

Kids love a block of ice. At 99 cents, how can you beat it?

The Pike Lake Unit of the Kettle Moraine State Forest is in the middle of the Kettle Moraine, a strip of glacial landforms which extends through southeastern Wisconsin to Lake Winnebago. This provides for a beautiful glacial remnant landscape of kames, kettles, and eskers.

The forest is named after the 446-acre, spring-fed kettle: Pike Lake. Powder Hill, a large glacial kame, provides the opportunity for a great hike and view. Visitors can enjoy camping, swimming, hiking, fishing, picnicking, and much more within the forest.
