Thick summer fog rolling in to SF tonight

I LOVE IT! Everything has gotten so quiet. Can't hear the traffic noise anymore even though my window is open.

Just wanted to share!

1. I love thick fog.

We'd get it coming off the Baltimore Harbor sometimes and not be able to see a light ten feet in front of you. It was the coolest thing. I live further north, now. I don't get the Harbor fog anymore. :(

2. It took me a few years

I used to hate it. Now, after a week or so of warm weather I look forward to a good fog! Doesn't hurt that this year the fog has been a bit warmer than normal. :)

I can remember watching the fog roll over the Golden Gate from the Berkeley Hills, back when my husband and I would drive up on Grizzly Peak Blvd......

It was gorgeous!

4. I'd never seen anything like that till I moved here

My favorite view is coming north on I 280 towards SF during the summer. Those incredible forested hills with the fingers of fog creeping over the crest and down into the valley. Just stunning!
