I just got a call from rrr, she just went and picked up her daughter, and they are home now. she will be along later with more info, but for now, thanks everyone for their prayers,and support.

*sssiiiiggghhhh* BIG HUGE sigh of relief. If I could, I would send RRR to a day spa for a 5 hour massage. It probably wouldn't get rid of all the stress knots, but it would be a great start...and it would probably give her a chance to sleep off the stress residue for about a week.

And as for our most famous DU daughter...I hope she knows how many people around the world were worried sick about her and that we are all extremely relieved that she's ok.

61. I hope that RRR explains what happened in the near future

I just talked with my own 14 year old daughter about this, about Myspace, about text messages and AIM, all the other things that parents arent always privy to in their teens world. I talked to her about how people can be so deceptive online -- and in real life --but especially online, and how they can talk kids into doing things that they wouldn't ordinarily do. Whether they be predatory adults or unsupervised older teens, all of our younger sons and daughters are vulnerable.

This frightens the hell out of me because teens think that they have good judgement, that they know what they're doing. Any light that RRR can shed on how this unfolded would be helpful for all of us who want to protect our children.

I am really happy to hear that Sarah is home. I dedicated some time to pray for sarah today -- something I had not yet done as my prayer list is overflowing and my worries many. I hope she is emotionally and physically and spiritually in good health, that is to say, that she has not been traumatized or abused by the will of another during her week away. I pray that reconciliation and healing occur within her family and that in some way, they become closer than before.
