Hi, you probably don't recognize me. My name is Ann Veneman, and I head up the Department of Agriculture. I haven't been in the news very much, so our little foot soldier is parading me out because an election is coming up. You probably saw Gale Norton holding his umbrella recently. I'll probably be more famous later in history when 'things' start showing up in the gene pool and in Mother Nature ...

People say you 'earn the face you deserve' ... don't I look friendly and loveable? Isn't mine a face you can trust with your and earth's health and well-being??? I thought so.

In closing, I wish you and yours a Genetically Modified Holiday with all the trimmings ... personally, I stick with organic, but don't tell Monsanto ...

hit by a tractor when she was a kid? cows,in fact most barnyard animals,look more "friendly and loveable" than her. they always made fun of reno so i guess she`s fair play....
