Totally talking to the audience.

3. Rabrrrrrr, while I have your attention --
Your homepage, listed as: http://www.rabrrrrrr.com/ isn't working.

Maybe you want to update your profile. I was just assuming you are on the East Coast, but I guess you could be ANYWHERE....

2. Hi Rabrrrrr -- Thanks for the heads-up! My hubby is out canvassing
our neighborhood for the Democrats and completely forgot about "Boston Legal" on Tuesday nights.

We'll see it in three hours -- now don't divulge the plot, OK?

Appreciate the post, sweetheart!

Your friend Radio_Lady, who is three hours behind you...on the Left Coast!

5. Okay. This episode has officially pissed me off.
It makes it seem as it transgenderism isn't real. It just lends credence to the average idiot that think a transgendered person can just change and that the whole thing is an act.

6. Hang on there.
How about his brother? More psychological mumbo jumbo than transgenderism.

And I think these two new characters will work out.

7. Well, I posted that before the identity of the brother cropped up.
However, I still think it sends the message to the average transphobic idiot that transgenderism isn't real or serious; that it is something that can be changed. It doesn't matter if the guy actually had multiple personality disorder, because I feel people will latch onto the transgender thing more.

8. That's true, although he was played more as a transvestite.
I won't even ask you what message was sent about dwarves tonight.

11. I didn't like the new guy at all; not sure about the woman.
I found that man to be extremely obnoxious. Very annoying. But I did enjoy the show.

12. It was like he was trying to be Alan, only a bad Alan
I just don't think they need those new characters. They have good characters already and I want them to have the air time.

14. Exactly!
I had the same thoughts you did. Anything that gives James Spader less air time is a very bad thing.

15. Damn right.
Now that I've had almost a day to think about it, the more I despise those two new characters.

Or, maybe I should say, not the characters so much themselves - I despise the fact that they are there; that the writers feel they are necessary. Not only are they unlikeable (which is fine), they simply are not necessary, and they add no value to the show.

I'm wondering if this is jump the shark time. I can see no logical reason for the addition of these characters, except as cliche, overdrawn points of "conflict" within the staff, the uncreative writers thinking that "yeah, this'll make some cool conflict that'll get us noticed by E! and bring in the Spice Girls fans".
