VH1 Holds Onto Gold 'Nugent'

LOS ANGELES (Zap2it.com) - Although reality shows following noted eccentrics have earned only mixed ratings at best, VH1 hopes they've found a winner in rocker Ted Nugent. The music network has ordered a full season of "Surviving Nugent."

Originally conceived as a two-hour special, "Surviving Nugent" performed well enough to encourage VH1 to extend its run. According to The Hollywood Reporter, new episodes of the show have been given the greenlight for next year.
