Fayetteville has a right-wing free weekly "news"paper called Up & Coming Weekly. This weekend, the issue with the Best of Fayetteville awards came out.

The Airborne and Special Operations Museum won for:

Best museum
Best attraction
Best downtown attraction
Most attractive building
Best place to take a date
Best place to take visitors to our community

I am positive that there are paratroopers on Fort Bragg who do not own civilian clothes.

I lived here during most of President Clinton's administration. You could go to the mall on any Saturday and see people walking around in duty uniform. My first civilian job was at the mall, and I got a chance to talk to quite a few of these people. None of them had duty at any time during the weekend; they just wore their uniform every day.

So yeah, I can very much understand taking a woman to the Airborne Museum on a date.
