Poll question: What killed the dinosaurs?
Or rather, what killed the dinosaurs, pterosaurs and whatever the hell kind of -saurs swam in the oceans but didn't kill the crocodilians? If you have an intelligent response, kindly put it in the form of a reply as you're unlikely to find anything intelligent in the responses I've composed below.:P

After a while, nobody would eat with them anymore, and they starved.

They faked their own deaths and got off this smelly rock when they saw things were turning bad, climate-wise. One day, if humanity is lucky enough, we'll encounter the dinosaurs again...OUT THERE.

They will no doubt take one look at us and say, "Fucking great. Mammals."

34. In the Gulf of Mexico, off the Yucatan peninsula
Also, per Wikiville there's another one from the right time in the Indian Ocean west of India. Some people think that one triggered the eruptions that formed the Deccan Traps, another possible trigger. I'm with you in being bewildered as to why only the great big dinosaury things died out but so many others didn't. The likelihood is that some of the dinosaurs didn't die out but evolved into birds, presumably in regions such as the tropics where the climate change or reduction in available food or whatever it was wasn't so extreme. Either that or it was the pudding.:)

20. Teleportation.
One of the social predators evolved the ability of teleportation. These predators ate most everything but small mammals living in underground burrows and dinosaurs that could fly. A few reptilian species evolved a short range ability to deflect this specific form of teleportation and thus survived extinction.

Eventually these teleporting dinosaurs achieved the ability to transport themselves across galactic distances and were declared a nuisance species by the Galactic Federation and exterminated. Human beings are on the watch list for possible extermination should we develop similar abilities. Historically planetary ecologies that evolve teleportation once are very likely to evolve it again.

35. Some people would tell you it was a single meteor...
but if you look at the impact mark left by this supposed meteor, it becomes obvious that this story isn't true. For something to create such a crater, it would have had to be coming from the completely opposite direction as this meteor would have struck from. There was a caveman shortly after the incident who was doing an investigation into this, but he was found dead the next day. The truth is out there, but they're hiding it. It's the only explanation for the fact that, to this day, the photographs of the original meteor still haven't been released.

And yes, I know I'm going to hell for this.

63. A new model for mass extinctions...
1. widespread volcanic activity (like the siberian traps) released CO2 and Methane.
2. gas causes global warming
3. warmer ocean absorbs less Oxygen from atmosphere
4. low oxygen destabilizes the chemo-cline, the division of where oxygenated (normal)water meets water permeated with H2S generated by bottom dwelling anaerobic bacteria
5. as H2S concentrations rise the chemo-cline rises to the ocean surface
6. Oxygen breathing ocean life suffocates
7. H2S diffuses into the air killing animals and plants on land
8. H2S rises to the troposphere and attacks Ozone layer
9. UV levels rise dramatically killing remaining life

As for the flipping of the magnetic field..

during the change of polarity the magnetosphere is greatly weakened. This lets in large amounts of charged solar wind particles directly to the surface of earth..

I would not want to be on earth while this is happening!
