5. I saw that song performed live by one of the original members this summer

We went to a free concert at Balboa Park in San Diego, by a band called "Cool Fever," and halfway through they introduced their drummer, Randy Seol, and said he was an original member of Strawberry Alarm Clock, and they would do their biggest hit, "Incense and Peppermints." So they did it with Randy playing the drums while singing the lead vocal. All of a sudden I was seeing "Incense and Peppermints" performed live, just a few yards away from me, by an original band member. It was great.
