2. That happened to me once. Then it fell down.
And then, a couple months later, we were starting an illegal war in Iraq.

3. When I lived in Boston, the apartment across the street
had a huge fire and the whole top floor was destroyed. While everybody from my building came out to watch the flames burn through the night, our apartments were broken into and many of us were robbed. Cool :(

8. There's two trucks here and more on the way from the sound of it.
Though from the looks of it, they're devoted to saving people and don't look to be doing much to save the building.

This fire is HUGE.

10. Can you...
... piss on it from your vantage point?

I understand the ammonia content in urine is remarkably effective in quelling raging fires...

22. My dear Zombie!
It is scary seeing a building, especially a big one, on fire, isn't it?

Once our neighbor's garage caught on fire, and I saw it....

I was scared, even though it was small! :scared:

Stay safe, sweetie! :loveya:

24. Isn't that near the Congress Hotel? What school do you go to? Columbia?
My kid is at the Art Institute.
I will be there next week for Family Weekend.
I love Chicago- sorry to hear about the fire.
STAY SAFE.
Your DU mom...

Not to mention haunted...:scared:

I'm coming to vist my daughter at the end of next week-
If you're around, I will introduce you two.
She is a really great person, not to mention drop dead gorgeous...heh-heh,
if you are male- I will warn you that most guys fall in love with her
in ten minutes because not only is she gorgeous, she is incredibly sweet.
She is a sophomore, what year are you in?

I try to meet other DUers whn I visit other cities, so I hope I
get the pleasure of meeting you, if not next week, then on another
trip to Chicago.

I just called ny daughter to make sure she was okay-
she said some of her friends went to check out the fire and
saw the roof collapsing...
Yikes.
I repeat- STAY SAFE.
