GAH!!!! So that's what that smell was!
I've been trying to track down a smell in laundry room for four days now.

Guess it never occurred to me to open the freezer that was accidently unplugged 6 days ago with several hundred dollars worth of frozen meats in there.

At least....until I went to get some ground beef tonight out of the freezer.

2. Reminds me of the time that our freezer died and everyone thought

that our old dog wasn't making it all the way off the back porch when she had to go do her business.

At the time, I had 4 turkeys in there because we got one for Thanksgiving from my husband's company, some one gave us one, we got another from work the next Thanksgiving and I don't know where the fourth one came from. I was working 50 - 60 hours a week at the time, so all I did was go to work and come home to crash. I was getting desperate, because I had 4 turkeys of indeterminate edibility that I either had to cook or throw out. I was very relieved when the freezer died and took the turkeys with it.

My husband, who had to load the freezer onto a truck and haul it to the dump, was not so happy.

4. LOL! Far into the future
archaeologists will dig up your freezer and wonder about the elevated status of four large birds who were given a casket and a proper burial, albeit buried in garbage. (Unless your dump extracts metal from freezers, etc. and the turkeys and their coffin were buried separately!)

5. I think you need to put a *graphic to all vegans* warning...
...in your title. I'm not even a vegan and the thought of that makes me ill.

6. EEEEWWW! Our neighbor across the street put a chest freezer in the driveway
in warm weather, and it had been ther for a few days. Her recently"ex'd" husband drove by, saw it, backed up, jumped out of his car, opened the freezer, cursed, slammed the lid down fast, jumped into his car, and stepped on the gas. My husband reminded me that neighbor had gone hunting and fishing quite a bit....
