NY Cabbie Accuses me of having sex parties with Uday and Qusay
because I was involved with the anti war movement.

It started when she picked me up at Penn Station. I had come from Fort Dix visiting my father who is a disabled vet. She asked me where I was and I told her. I also told her that I saw a lot of the reservists coming in for training, I assumed to replace some of the soldiers in Iraq. She then told me she supported the war and was glad that we helped free the Iraqi people. I then told her the conditions the troops have been subjected to and how the American Red Cross is having drives to collect basic necessities like toothbrushes, clothes, and even chewing gum. After saying the war was poorly planned, she started attacking my character, saying I was selfish. Actually, screaming at me. She then had nerve to tell me that my father was a horrible soldier to have raised a daughter like me. I told her my father and a lot military leadership are not happy with the way this war as turned out. I guess that is when I became a drug using musician who likes to have sex parties with Uday and Qusay. She slammed the partition closed inside the car and started screaming that I was a wacko.

It makes me think about how personal attacks are used when someone doesn't have a good argument or are pissed that you don't support their point of view. Needless to say, I am waiting for the court date.

1. Wow, that's really scary. I think I would have jumped out.
Cars can be dangerous weapons in the hands of nut jobs.

2. Taxi Court can be fun
You sit in a little room with an arbitrator. When I went the taxi driver didn't even show up. The judge heard our side and fined the guy $600, which he richly deserved. (He refused to let us out of the cab and sped up when my friend opened the door - he could have killed him.)

3. perhaps
it isn't worth it the court case I mean. Have you contacted the company to inform them of her behavior. She was way out of line there and should be told so by someone she must listen to.

8. I reported her to the taxi commission.
It is one thing to have a conversation. It is another to have insults hurled at you as a paying customer. Personal attacks when someone does not know you is a cop out. Plus, her job is to drive people around the city. Not insult passengers and slam windows in their faces. That is beyond disagreeing with my opinion. If she had left with..well, we just don't agree that would have been fine.

10. You did the right thing - sorry you had to go through that
but no one else should. You didn't give her hell, you told her the truth and she thought it was hell and lashed out at you for it.
