1. Pfft...I've taken Monday, November 27th, off from work to shop.
I plan to conclude the vast majority of my shopping in a one-day, blow-out orgy of consumerism.

10. I got the "Moses" doll from that fundie site. He and Elmo have a cage match
set up for Thanksgiving. I understand that TME-X has a folding chair just waiting for him. Something about "parting his red sea" with it.

11. Right. Like Mary, when giving birth to our Lord and Savior should have
used Acrobat to create and send .pdf birth announcements for the future King, eh? And the 3 wise men were idiot farts for not using Amazon.com and the free shipping.

Disgusting. Christmas is about pain, suffering and long waits. You people make me sick.

7. I waited in a line of very peaceful, friendly people last night...
got my son's Wii and all accessories.

No clubbing, stabbing, shooting.

And, while I thought about trying a Tony Chachere's Turducken, we're going with the old stand-by fried turkey for Thanksgiving this year.

:)

...holiday shopping season. Over the years, I have worked assiduosly to avoid making new friends, to alienate the few friends I had, and to cut all ties to my family. As a result, Christmas shopping is a breeze. An added benefit: Christmas Day is about as peaceful as a bottle of Jack Daniels can make it.

17. On Thanksgiving, I'm going to suggest to the whole family that we just "call it even" this year.
And if they won't go for that, I'm just going to make things for everyone, since I have about 37 cents in my total budget for Christmas shopping. I'll probably buy toys for the little kids, but everyone else is going to have to settle for homemade gifts this time.

You do not even want to know what I had to do to get you that Elmo, but I know you really wanted it so the bloodshed and criminal charges were worth it. Thank Big Bird for the dent resistant panels on my wagon.
