Kelly Ripa, Clay Aiken feud........................

Did anyone see the show on Friday where he was co-hosting? Just wondered what could have happened for her to go off on her show yesterday and diss him like she did.

That would be my question. Why go on your talk show the next morning and tear him up when he can't defend himself? That really bugs me.

7. Full disclosure: I watch the first half of the show while I'm getting ready for

work in the AM. More full disclosure: I've never seen American Idol, so I'd never seen Aiken before, but I knew of him.

The guy was horrible. He was "jokingly" dissing her a number of times during the "host chat" segment, but it came out really meanspirited and catty. His fan club in the audience enjoyed it. Ripa seemed to be trying to be as friendly as possible under the circumstances. And whatever you think of Kelly Ripa, she is the show host and didn't deserve that kind of treatment. I didn't see the "hand over mouth" move, but finally saw it later (on Olbermann last night?).

I'd say Aiken will NOT be asked back.

She was a bitch, he responded, then she went crazy. That's how I saw it anyway, I assumed that a co-host was ya know, a co-host and not a piece of furniture.
