Ted Bundy was a republican
he was active in the Washington State republican party during the 1970s. He took politics seriously and made a lot of connections to high level state GOP charecters.
Unfortunately, John Wayne Gacy was a democrat who wanted to run for public office in Chicago.

2. Right, the truth is that murderers and maniacs are bipartisan
Of course, that never stops the Party-Loyal Right-Wing Sub-Media from linking a henious crime with Liberalism or the Democratic Party.

And there does seem to be a lot of Repugs getting busted for Child Porno lately, but perhaps just a coincidence.

11. I just felt like slinging a little mud at the GOP
I am sure that Rush would mention if a serial killer was caught and he turned out to be a liberal democrat.

I do not think there is anything surprising about GOP pedophilia.

16. Got no problem with that, Zuni!

I still remember when Hans Gingrich used the Susan Smith tragedy to hurl epithets at liberals.

Naturally, it turned out that Ms. Smith's Dad had regularly molested her for decades and, just as obviously, he was a Repig Bigwig and Christian Coalition member.

Surprise.

3. And Dahmer was not a vegetarian
Sorry Zuni, but I think ths post is a bit of a non sequitur as there are about zillion other things that one could tie serial murder to...and unless you are Edie amin, Adolf Hitler or a few others..political affiliation is likely to be low on the list..and if it is on the list at all, the expression of it would more likely than not exist as a manifestation of the illness rather than the source.

6. not Al
For whatever reason, it took me a moment to remember that Ted Bundy was not a character on Married with Children. :spank:

*Al* Bundy, man of the people that he was, was certainly on our side.

10. This reminds me of an old saying:
"The Devil is a Republican, but his lawyers are Democrats." (I don't know who originally said that.)

15. Wasn't there something political about Albert Packer?
Albert Packer, the infamous Colorado cannibal? "There were (some number) of Democrats in this county and you've eaten half of them!"
