Why the eff is Tucson so cold right now?
Edited on Sun Dec-24-06 06:52 AM by Wetzelbill
It's like 33 degrees out! My hometown in Montana is 28 right now. Of course, this is practically a blizzard by Tucson standards. Back home 28 degrees is a heatwave.

I actually wore shorts out the other day, when it was about 50 degrees. People looked at me like I was nuts. One guy at a bus stop asked me if I was freezing. I was like: "Hellz no, I'm from Montana, this isn't even cold." And, also keep in mind I am much more wimpy than I used to be too. If I went home I would freeze to death, without a doubt.

1. Same here. It's only about 30° F outside, but it feels like 100 below.
I don't think I could _ever_ face another Nebraska winter, and I'm awfully glad I won't have to. :D

6. Boo!
I just recently had the cable turned on since the move. When I responded to your PM I did it from the new job and was scolded by the boss for accessing an "entertainment" site while at work. The new employer has tracking software which follows our every move on the computers. So, I figured I could finally afford to turn it back on.

BTW, who is that in your avatar? Forgive me if I show my ignorance.

Go out and have an enchilada for me! Christmas Eve at La Fuente is fun... the music is great. Maybe Tucson will have a white Christmas? I've seen it happen!

Merry Christmas, Wild Bill!

12. Because Detroit is warm
The Jet stream shifted due to a shift in the global wind patterns. When the Jet Stream shifts it changes the ambient temp in the areas it shifts from and to.
