I've been robbed!
Not in the traditional sense...no one broke it.

It just seems that I've practically missed Christmas. I've been so busy, I haven't been able to anticipate the season. I like to get people 'the perfect gift' but this year I didn't have enough time so I just had to get what I could find.

No tree. Presents aren't wrapped yet. I need to spend Christmas morning doing laundry, so I'll miss brunch. I will show up later in time for dinner though.

...Don't mind me, I'm just feeling a bit worn out.

1. I was gonna say...AGAIN?!
Sorry you're so worn out. I hope you have a nice holiday with your family, whatever bit of it you get to share with them.

2. I'm not sick this year
Just weary.

I'm glad to see you on tonight. I thought you'd be at your parents' house tonight.

Merry Christmas!

3. Kinda the same here.
Watching "Bad Santa" in the middle of a pile of unwrapped presents, and I don't feel much like wrapping them. Meh.

So Merry Christmas anyhow.

(And, btw, I just figured out your name: YVR is the airport code for Vancouver. Am I slow or what?)

4. You and about 140,000 troops sitting over in Iraq
Maybe if you look at this as one of those 'Walk a mile in someone else's shoes' moment, you might be able to enjoy and appreciate the little part of the holiday you can grab. Just and idea.
