Legal steroids to assist in muscle re-development?

1. You'll need to talk to your doctor. However...
First, there are no "legal" steroids without a 'script. Most pro-hormones have been banned as well. The days of Methyl-1-Test being available to any aspiring bodybuilder are gone (thank goodness).

However, methasteron is a synthetic "steroid" based on the Superdrol formula. It's a rip on the real 'roid known as Masteron, I believe. Will this help you? I don't know your situation or why you need muscle re-development. If it's a real need, talk to your doctor.

If you're looking to put on some bulk, some lean mass for non-medical purposes, I'd stick to a decent NO compound stacked with a very good creatine (they aren't all the same), and watch my diet closely.

2. I'll talk to the doc
Muscle weakness (atrophy), a lot of pain in the muscles, my neurologist said there was muscle damage otherwise consistent with neuropathy except all the tests done were showing no problems with the nervous system...

And I get weak fairly quickly too.

And I may as well hope for a prosperous future, in which case getting healthy again is top priority - more quickly rebuilding the muscles is rather a good start...

5. Sounds like
you need the doc to locate the root cause, THEN start rebuilding. If you have a muscle wasting disease, steroids can help a great deal. However, I don't know how your specific situation would benefit/react from the usual anabolic suspects. Besides, it's not like you can just mainline a crapload of deca or T and build a bunch of muscle. Talking to the doc is your only real first step. Oh, and double question/get a second opinion if the suggestion of growth hormone comes up.

9. Consider Acupuncture
Lot of good results with acupuncture. Look for someone with ten years experience. Atrophy in many cases can be improved slowly. Look around for a good physical therapist. Unfortunately, there are many poor physical therapists in it for insurance.

3. Doctor's the only way. Be careful. Even the legal ones are dangerous.
What's "muscle re-development"? Do you exercise? What exactly are you trying to do?

4. Rebuild atrophied tissues
For example, I can barely walk without my legs collapsing

6. I don't know your age or health history. You need to speak with some medical person about that.
Are you serious? Have you been confined to bed with an injury? You do have medical coverage, or don't you?

7. As much as I'd love to say this is another of my cornball jokes,

I never joke about my health or my perception of it.

I'll even send you the neurologist's reports if you'd like.

All I know is, from the last time I gave a damn, the neurologist said things looked really odd, had me do some tests, and never got backed to me with any of the results. (So therefore nothing must be wrong and I'm making the weakness and pain up. I'm really not... can't even do one chin-up, but the walking is the far bigger problem right now. )

Given his bill, if I was uninsured, would be $1500, screw 'im. And not in a good way. It'd be cheaper to fly to India. x(

I will have to go back anyway; I've had lower back pain for almost as week now and it's centered on my lower back (the previous MRI showed some bulging discs... I wonder if the excess moving at work may have impacted it... oh well. I'm just a monkey anyway.)

8. Did you recontact the doctor who said "things looked really odd"?

I'm all for starting with another neurologist for a second opinion.

Sounds like you're hurting pretty badly and you need to get hold of another doctor if this one doesn't respond to your needs.

Are you in a PPO (choose your own doctor) or an HMO? If so, get hold of the Member Services (or call your insurance company and start with them) department and tell them you're not having any luck in getting a diagnosis from your doctor. Our HMO has a Patient Services Representative at every medical office. Whine and complain to voice mail, then push "0" to get to a live human being and tell them you're ready to come in right now or as soon as possible because you are not getting adequate treatment.

In medicine these days, it's "the squeaky wheel gets the grease." Please Whine And Complain, and don't do it on an Internet website. Or if you do, back it up with calls to doctors and insurance companies.

Tomorrow is a workday for many people. Do it tomorrow, Tuesday, December 26th. You might also recognize that doctors take holiday weeks off -- my primary care doctor is gone until January 2nd, (my book publicists are closed up until then, too.)

However, many HMOs have Acute Care services over the holiday period. Call the basic number and ask.

This might give you some hope. I'm lucky -- my low back pain has eased up after six sessions with a physical therapist. I'm not taking any pain pills now. You need more help.

Feel better... PM me with other details. One thing that sticks with me... bad backs don't just go away. You really have to work on them.

Radio Lady listens...
