2. Oh yeah. Only Johnny Weissmuller, though.

The other Tarzans were all candy pants compared to him.

21. Chimps and Jane
I watched the documentary in the first Johnny Weissmuller DVD set. In an interview with Maureen O'Sullivan (the best Jane), she said one of the chimps was extremely jealous of Jane and had to be chained so she wouldn't be attacked.

7. No but then when I was about
12 I met him (Johnny Weissmuller) with my dad and he was in his seventies at least. Still swimming though and thinking about him now from this age he was in pretty good shape. Then he was an interesting and very nice grandfather type.

9. I saw Weismuller's old estate in Beverley Hills.
The family still owns it, but it's all run down and empty. He had a semi-circular pool built around it that was completely sludged. It was very sad. Best. Tarzan. Ever.

11. Who Told You!
Ok, I admit it. And the sick part is that I still would. Not like I waste time thinking about it, but should he ever show up at my place, I wouldn't throw him outta bed... or off the sofa (or off the diningroom table, or out of the shower, or... or... you get the idea).

And if anyone ever asks, I'll deny every word of this... yes, I will.

20. I met the guy who played "Boy"

A good friend of mine has a friend named Regina Sheffield, and we went to her house once, and on the way there my friend told me her father played "Boy" in the Tarzan movies. His name is Johnny Sheffield and he's in his mid-70s now. We arrived at her house and he was standing in the kitchen making something. I was quickly introduced but no mention of the movies were made. I only saw him for a couple minutes but it was still kind of interesting.
