34. as will I!....
that reminds me of a story that cracks me up

way back when, I was about 21 or so. I was heading to the Illinois river with some friends and we were on the turnpike. One guy had hash and we were smoking it. We get to the turnpike gate, and there is a sign that says "please inform attendant if exiting here" This guy goes to the attendant "hey, it isn't exciting here" we all laughed trying to figure out what the hell he was talking about. Then he told us and we all lost it.

okay, it was funny at the time. Don't do that kind of thing anymore.

3. Deep breathing and visualization.
Seriously, works for me almost every time. I get killer hormonal headaches that nothing else can even touch. Kind of a little meditation thing I do, first working on my breathing until I'm very relaxed and conscious only of my breath; then I visualize the pain coming out of the top of my head. After a few minutes usually the pain is gone and I actually usually feel pretty clear-headed and rejuvenated.

Anyway, hope you feel better!

alcohol, well, gave that up 20 something years ago.

Hope you aren't freezing your buns off in OKC

I'm over in Ft. Smith, AR, and hoping that the ice stays west. It is and has been dancing along the OK/AR border sort of. Not that far from here they've had terrible ice damage. Muskogee comes to mind, a mere 70 or so miles.

Take care

It is the biggest one, a pecan tree.

It will cost $500 to trim the tree, but it will be done right.

They are coming out on Wednesday.

67. Yes,
I don't like pecans but I like picking them.

I give them away to neighbors, so they can make pies.

The tree really needs a trim, I sweated out last summer worrying about a hurricane killing the tree.

The trees are the reason I don't have a new truck, trees are not cheap.

I got a big discount for having so many trees trimed but still it is expensive.

73. I have pecan, and chinaberry trees.
The animals live in the trees in hollows, and birds need a place to nest.

The townhouses destroy our trees.

We have to make the builders plant trees in front or they wouldn't do it.

Fort Smith is a "bird sanctuary" which means that the birds are plentiful and so is bird poop for that matter under the wrong tree LOL

we have big fat healthy squirrels all over and a few rabbits, in the middle of town in an older neighborhood. Pretty cool really.

78. My neighborhood is old also, one of the oldest in Houston.
We had a great neighborhood until the townhouses.

My block is still OK but it is a matter of time until we get invaded.

I have lots of squirrels, and other small wildlife.

I really miss the small town feel we had until a few years ago.

81. The townhouses are made out of crap, the new owners are already having problems with them.
The people who live in them are not friendly, I have to deal with them on election day.

I grew up in this neighborhood, it was like living in the country. Several mom and pop grocery stores, a bike shop, drug store, and a great used book store. We could fish in the creek that flows though the woods and camp in the woods.

Now is townhouses and cement.
