At a show here where a friends band was opening, I grabbed Lemmy and got him to convince the security guards at the venue to let my older brother back in after he got kicked out for throwing his beer on the opening band (the lead singer and my bro are really good friends, and it is traditional to soak Todd in alcohol when he's performing, but the club didn't "get" that). Lemmy gave me a beer!! I also was very close to never washing the hand he shook again. He was very cool!

I met him backstage at a show. I wrote an article on Motorhead and had interviewed Phil Campbell, so I got a backstage pass for the show. Lemmy was sitting at a table with three chicks. I can't believe I did this, but I walked right up to Lemmy, introduced myself and put out my hand. (I never do things like that.) He shook my hand; I mentioned the interview and the article and we talked for a few minutes. It was so cool. :-)

with Iron Maiden and Dio. Motorhead and Iron Maiden were great, but Dio seemed like he was mailing it in. Iron Maiden was especially good.
