Traffic stupidity rant...

:grr: I hope this isn't an indicator as to how the rest of my day will go... :mad: I left the house this morning for my morning commute, which normally takes between 30 and 40 minutes tops. I left on time with no delays on my part. However, 2/3 of the 16-mile drive is on a two-lane road (one lane in each direction). I was three cars behind the slowest slowpoke of all time... drove 25 in a 45 zone and stopped at every intersection regardless of the traffic signal (or lack thereof). :nuke: On top of that, I caught EVERY red light after that. :grr: My 30-40 minute commute took me an hour this morning! :mad:

1. Yah my drive in was annoying today too

It is mostly single-lane traffic, but at one place there is this silly little overtaking lane. It is silly because it lasts for about two hundred yards. I am not joking. There is enough room to overtake one truck - that's it.

So this morning I was behind a van which was behind a truck going slowly. The van used the overtaking lane to pass the truck, but took so long about it that he was only just past when the lane ran out! I had no room and was forced to slow down and slip back in behind the truck again!

2. I really love the asshats who drive 65 in the passing lane

while the speed limit also happens to be 65. Usually someone who is driving and talking on their evil cell phone.

5. I live in a big city in Germany

public transportation here is really good and I am glad about. Last November I sold my car because I don't need it.
I enjoy to sit in the subway, listening to my music and read a book.

I'm sorry :hug: There is nothing that pisses me off more than shitty drivers. Well, in a pet peeve sort of way. I have found that a nice black russian while relaxing in the hot tub makes all the shitty parts of the day just go away.
